The participants of the tournament were Hikaru Nakamura, Fabiano Caruana, Ian Nepomniachtchi, Nodirbek Abdusattorov, Alireza Firouzja, Wesley So, Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa, Leinier Dominguez, Levon Levon Aronian and Maxime Vachier-Lagrave.
