Khamenei responded to Trump's letter

Iran has sent a response through Oman to U.S. President Donald Trump's letter in which he urged Tehran to reach a new nuclear deal, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi was cited as saying by the official IRNA news agency on Thursday.
"Our policy is still to not engage in direct negotiations while under maximum pressure and military threats, however, as it was the case in the past, indirect negotiations can continue", IRNA cited Araqchi as saying.

According to Araghchi, the response contains two documents. The first outlines Tehran's views on the current situation in the world, and the second fully analyzes and interprets the theses contained in Trump's letter.
Օn March 7, Trump wrote on his "Truth Social" page that he had sent a message to Khamenei, offering to negotiate over Tehran's nuclear program. The Iranian leader, commenting on this statement by the American president, emphasized that his country will not enter into dialogue with the United States, since Washington only cares about its own interests.
