David Silva has set a new Premier League record after clocking up his 200th win for City against Everton.
The Spanish midfielder has reached a double century quicker than anyone else in the competition’s history after coming on as a late substitute for the reigning champions in a hard-fought 3-1 victory at Goodison Park.

Silva tops an illustrious list of 26 players to have hit the 200 mark, but the rate at which he has done so is remarkable.

He is the only man to reach the milestone in fewer than 300 games, getting there in 289 matches to eclipse John Terry’s previous record of 305 by 16 games.
