![]() NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte has confirmed that Ukraine’s possible membership in NATO is not part of the current Russia-Ukraine settlement, but has promised Kiev an “irreversible path” to the alliance. “At the summit in Washington, Ukraine was promised an irreversible path to the alliance. That is true. Now Ukraine is close to NATO. But no one is saying that membership will be part of a peace agreement,” Rutte said after a meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Brussels. |
