Died Director Maria Sahakyan

Armenian film Director Maria Saakyan died at the age of 37 years. This was announced by film critic Andrey Plakhov.
«It is impossible to believe in the death of a beautiful 37-year-old woman. The bright memory… condolences to the relatives», — he wrote on his page in Facebook, adding that the cause of death of the Director was cancer.

Maria Saakyan was born in Yerevan in 1980, and later together with his family moved to Russia. He graduated from the directing Department of film and television at VGIK, her diploma work «Farewell» in 2003 was included in the official program of the Rotterdam film festival in Holland.
