US carries out more than 20 strikes in Yemen

The United States carried out more than 20 strikes on targets in the Yemeni capital Sanaa and in the provinces of Marib and Hodeidah on Tuesday night, Al-Mayadeen TV reported.
"The United States carried out 22 strikes on the Yemeni capital Sanaa, the provinces of Marib and Hodeidah early Tuesday morning," the TV channel reported.
According to the TV channel, 11 strikes hit the Bani Khusheysh and Sanhar areas near Sanaa.

On March 15, US President Donald Trump ordered the military to take "decisive and powerful" action against the Ansar Allah (Houthis) movement in Yemen. US Central Command reported that the country had launched a large-scale operation to protect American interests.
