Washington Post Begins Laying Off More Than 300 Journalists

The Post announced that it no longer have dedicated coverage of sports and is shuttering its bureaus in the Middle East, India, and Australia, among other cuts. In all more than 300 of the newsroom’s 800 employees were let go.
