Lion named Ruben going home

On December 4th, 2022, FPWC rescued a lion named Ruben from a former zoo in the Republic of Artsakh. Since the start of his stay at the zoo, Ruben had been lacking the presence of his lion peers.
On this international Lion's Day, we're thrilled to share that Ruben will finally be going home to join other individuals of his kind in South Africa where he will be in his own natural habitat.
He will surely witness a remarkable change in his life as the echoes of his roar will be answered again.
