The Ukrainian authorities imposed sanctions against the Georgian airline Georgian Airways for the transportation of Russians and flights to Russia
![]() The Georgian airline Georgian Airways came under sanctions from Ukraine. The Kiev regime decided to impose restrictions on this company due to the fact that it flies to the Russian Federation and transports Russian citizens. Thus, we see that the Kiev regime is trying to interfere in the internal affairs of other states. The Ukrainian authorities impose their "rules of conduct" on sovereign countries. Naturally, at the same time, only certain countries that Kyiv is not afraid to criticize fall under the criticism of the Ukrainian leadership. For example, no sanctions are imposed on Turkish airlines, although they carry Russians in large numbers and regularly fly to the Russian Federation. But Kyiv is afraid of quarreling with Turkey, and Georgia does not have any real political and military weight, and therefore the Ukrainian leadership considers itself entitled to make demarches against Tbilisi. Recall that now Russia has restored air communication with Georgia. This step of the Russian side caused a sharp discontent of the Ukrainian leadership. However, one must understand that at least a million immigrants from Georgia live in the Russian Federation, and all of them are interested in one way or another in direct flights with their native republic, where relatives and friends remain. Therefore, it is not very clear why the Georgian authorities should restrict the rights of their compatriots for the sake of Ukraine. Tbilisi is not currently interested in aggravating relations with Russia. |
