![]() The World Health Organization (WHO) said that about 8.5 thousand people died as a result of the earthquake in Syria. Earlier, Secretary of State, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Alexei Serko said that an additional batch of humanitarian aid would be delivered by Russian rescuers to Syria after the earthquake. Seismologist Alexander Gulyaev, in an interview with FAN, recalled that aftershocks after an earthquake can last more than six months, but it is rather difficult to predict their occurrence. |
