World Bank urges to ease anti-Russian sanctions
![]() The leaders of the World Bank, the Food and Agriculture Organization, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Trade Organization (WTO) called for an easing of anti-Russian sanctions to resolve the food crisis. This is reported by Izvestia. “The COVID-19 pandemic, disruptions to international supply chains, and the fallout from the Ukraine conflict have severely disrupted the interconnected markets for food, fuel and fertilizer,” the World Bank website says.
