![]() Historian Hamlet Petrosyan wrote on his Facebook page. "A picture taken from the Tik-Tok video circulates on the Internet, where it is clearly seen that scaffold has been installed at the Bell Tower of the Holy Savior Gazanchetsots Church in Shushi. It is unlikely, that it is intended for removing the inscriptions. The main inscription about building of the church is located above the south entrance, and the inscription concerning the Bell Tower construction is on the east wall. In aim to destroy these inscriptions, it would be enough to put up a ladder. I think, there is another intent - either to demolish, or distort, or "reconstruct". Of course, this does not exclude the desecration of the inscriptions". |
