 By the decision of the Executive Committee of the International University Sports Federation (FISU), Yekaterinburg received the right to become the capital of the World Summer Universiade-2023. Russia will host the summer Universiade for the second time, earlier competitions were also held in Kazan, in 2013. In addition, Moscow hosted the summer Universiade in 1973. |
