"Spring is coming": exhibition of embroidery canvases in Yerevan
![]() Naregatsi Art Institute unveiled the personal exhibition of painter, embroidery designer, RA People's Master Marietta Martirosyan-Alexanyan. The artist’s embroidered works on canvas were showcased at the exhibition entitled "Spring is Coming". The opening of the artistic part of the event was opened by minstrel Nazeli, who presented the musical piece based on the lyrics written by Marieta Martirosyan-Alexanyan. RA People's Artist Tovmas Poghosyan, who was present at the event, expressed his admiration characterizing the displayed works as embroidered sculptures. The painter's friends and relatives spoke at the opening of the exhibition. Marieta Martirosyan-Alexanyan has had a number of personal and group exhibitions, and has received numerous awards.
