More than 98 dead in the Syrian regime's bombardment of the rebel enclave of eastern Guta

![]() The 400,000 civilians encircled in eastern Guta, last stronghold of rebellion on outskirts of Damascus, have been living for weeks under incessant bombardment of regime. This Monday at least 98 civilians, including 20 children, have lost ir lives under bombs that offensive of Bashar al-Assad launches on this area, where arrival of new troops augurs an imminent terrestrial offensive, as reported by Syrian Observatory of Human Rights (OSDH). The Syrian Observatory on Human Rights has also accounted for some 300 injured during attacks by Syrian Air Force and artillery deployed around enclave. According to this NGO, 20 civilians have died in attacks of Monday in Hamuria and nine ors in Saqba. The rest have died in or bombed areas. |
