Car plows into crowd in Germany

At least one person has been killed in a car crash in the western German city of Mannheim, the Mannheimer Morgen newspaper reported.

According to preliminary information, the car drove into a crowd in the Paradeplatz area. Rescue services are on the scene.

City police have asked residents to avoid traveling to the city center.
