Russian attacks across Ukraine kill four, injure 12, Zelenskyy says
![]() Russian forces launched attacks on several regions of Ukraine overnight, killing four people and injuring 12 others, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated. "In Odesa, two people were killed as a result of Russia’s overnight missile strike on a residential building. Five more people were injured, including three children. Everyone affected is receiving the necessary medical care. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Fifteen guided aerial bombs were used against the Sumy region. One person was injured in Sumy, and residential buildings and civilian infrastructure, including a library, were damaged. Our other regions also came under attack. In the Zaporizhzhia region, two people were killed and five more were injured in an air strike. In the Kharkiv region, three people were injured as a result of shelling. One person was injured in the Chernihiv region. The Kherson, Donetsk, and Dnipro regions also came under attack. In total, the enemy launched more than 130 attack drones and eight missiles against Ukraine overnight. It is important that every state institution and everyone involved in negotiations with partners on supporting Ukraine’s defense and resilience act with maximum speed and effectiveness. The implementation of everything agreed at the leaders’ level must be accelerated. Every defense package today is not just a number, but specific equipment that protects lives here in Ukraine every day. I thank everyone who works this way, as well as all our partners who are helping Ukraine" Zelenskyy wrote on his X.
