US embassy in Qatar urges caution over travel to Al-Udeid air base
 The US embassy in Qatar said it has advised its personnel to exercise increased caution and limit non-essential travel to Al-Udeid Air Base amid heightened regional tensions. "We recommend U.S. citizens in Qatar do the same," it said in a security alert. The embassy said it is continuing to monitor the situation. "At this time, U.S. Embassy staffing and operations are unchanged, and consular services continue as normal," it added.
