Armenia’s ranking rose in the Press Freedom Index

![]() Reporters Without Borders (RSF) has published its World Press Freedom Index for 2025, in which Armenia improved its ranking by 9 places compared to the previous year. Armenia ranked 34th out of 180 countries. In 2024, Armenia ranked 43rd with a score of 71.6, and in 2023, it ranked 49th with a score of 70.61. Armenia is a regional leader in terms of press freedom. Georgia has dropped 11 places compared to the previous year and is ranked 114th, Azerbaijan is ranked 167th, Turkey is ranked 159th, Iran is ranked 176th, and Russia has dropped 9 places compared to the previous year and is currently ranked 171st. |
