Magnitude 5.8 earthquake hits Coquimbo, Chile

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 struck Coquimbo, Chile, on Sunday, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).

The quake occurred at a depth of 38 kilometers (23.6 miles), the EMSC reported.
