The monastery of the Apostle Yeghisha, called also "Jrvshtik" or "Nersmihr Monastery" in the north of Artsakh, today is located between the Armenian and Azerbaijani positions, much closer to our positions.
It is one of the oldest monasteries in Artsakh, according to the legend Vachagan Barepasht is buried here. One of the chapels of the monastery encloses his grave. There are more than forty Armenian inscriptions on the structures of the monastery. My call and request is to take special care of this unique historical and cultural complex.
