![]() Theresa May today vowed to fight on as PM after rebel Tory MPs sent at least 48 letters of no confidence in her. She said she would contest her leadership "with everything I've got" after the vote was scheduled to take place this evening. Mrs May said that changing Conservative leader would "put our country's future at risk and create uncertainty when we can least afford it" and could lead to Brexit being delayed or prevented. Mrs May said: "We must and we shall deliver on the referendum vote and seize the opportunities that lie ahead." |
