"We need this march to show the authorities that we remember and will never forget the crime of March 1." L. Zurabyan
![]() In 1988 the Liberty square was filled with atmosphere of freedom. Very few generations are lucky enough to participate in powerful movements such was the Armenian part of the Artsakh movement, furthermore, to achieve victory and fulfil all the goals. "It was a great deal and many of our young people do not know about it. We went through a powerful history and not many things can equal to that,"- said today Armenian National Congress deputy chairman Levon Zurabyan at the rally dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Nagorno-Karabakh Movement, adding that if it wasn’t for that movement, Nagorno-Karabakh would not exist today. Speaking about the upcoming March 1 rally, he said: "On March 1, we will have our traditional march. We need this march to show the authorities that we remember and will never forget the crime of March 1. The time will come when all the planners and perpetrators of March 1 will be punished and the head of the state will apologise to the people for that violence. That will come true, and upon the basis of the great movement of 1988, we will create the country in accordance with the ideas of that movement. " |
