A Ford dealership with an area of more than 3,000 square meters caught fire in Warsaw
![]() Local residents raised the alarm shortly after 5 a.m. when black smoke started rising over the neighborhood, located in the northeast of the Polish capital. By 8 a.m., almost 40 fire crews were tackling the blaze, a State Fire Service spokesman said, adding that it was not known whether anybody had been inside the building. He also said that the source of the fire had yet to be located. The entire 3,500-square-meter Ford showroom and auto workshop were on fire as well as over a dozen cars parked outside the building, the fire service said. A chemical rescue team are involved in the emergency operation along with aerial platforms and reconnaissance drones. Black smoke was visible for miles from the site on Krasnobrodzka Street, which has been cordoned off by police. Local residents have been advised to stay away and to follow instructions from the emergency services.
