![]() Four people were wounded after a man attacked patients and staff with a sharp weapon at a hospital in Jastrzebie-Zdroj, southern Poland, on Thursday evening, Polish media RMF24 reported, citing local police. The attack took place at the Provincial Specialist Hospital in Silesian Voivodeship. Three victims sustained stab wounds to the chest and one suffered neck injuries. Their conditions were serious but stable, hospital officials said. The suspect was controlled by a ward chief before police arrived and was subsequently detained. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the attack. Poland's Health Ministry said it was closely monitoring the situation and ready to provide all necessary support. |
