Hungarian President rejects Magyar's demand to resign

Hungarian President Tamas Szuyok rejected the demand of Prime Minister Peter Magyar to resign. He stated this on May 18 in an interview with the portal Index.hu .

"Currently, there are no legal or constitutional grounds that could justify my resignation. I took an oath to the Constitution and the protection of constitutional order, and this oath binds me to the ruling majority, the minority and the entire political nation," Shujok said.
