US rejects Iran's 14-point proposal to end war
![]() The United States has rejected Iran’s 14-point proposal aimed at resolving ongoing tensions, according to the Tehran Times. Tehran received a written response from Washington in which all of its proposals were turned down. The paper added that the U.S. continues to pursue a pressure-based approach toward Iran, particularly in relation to its nuclear programme. It is noteworthy that Iran presented its proposal based on a two-stage negotiation process, where the first stage would lead to the end of the war on all fronts, and if Iran's conditions were met, the second stage of negotiations, concerning the nuclear issue, would commence. Earlier reports indicated that U.S. President Donald Trump rejected Iran’s response to a recent peace proposal intended to end the wider conflict, which has contributed to global economic disruptions. |
