Britain expanded the anti-Russian sanctions list by 85 positions
![]() Britain has expanded the anti-Russian sanctions list by imposing restrictions against 85 individuals and organizations, according to a notice from the British Ministry of Finance. Several employees of the Russian PR agency Agency for Social Design and a number of non-profit organizations (NPOs) have been sanctioned by London. In addition, restrictions were also imposed on the Commissioner for Children's Rights in the Novosibirsk region, Nadezhda Boltenko, and the Commissioner for Children's Rights in the Kherson region, Irina Kravchenko. The UK Foreign Office stated that the restrictions were extended to individuals involved in the "forced deportation, indoctrination, and militarization of Ukrainian children" and participants in "Russian information warfare campaigns" aimed at "interfering in the upcoming Armenian elections." In total, the UK's sanctions list now includes 1,903 individuals and 857 legal entities. |
