European Commission delays first tranche of €90B loan for Ukraine

![]() The European Commission has postponed the payment of the first tranche under the €90 billion loan package intended for Ukraine. According to Paula Pinho, a representative of the European Commission, the European Union is not refusing the payment, but only adjusting the timeline. “We remain committed to making the first payment under this package in the second half of this year. As the President said, we will provide this loan in any case,” the Commission’s representative noted. |
