![]() US Vice President JD Vance says that while some progress was made in the US’s talks today with Iran over its nuclear program, the Islamic Republic is not willing to accept some of Washington’s red lines. “One thing about the negotiations this morning is — in some ways it went well. They agreed to meet afterward, but in other ways it was very clear that the president has set some red lines that the Iranians are not yet willing to actually acknowledge and work through,” Vance says in an interview with Fox News. Elaborating a bit on what those red lines are, Vance says the US will not allow Iran to obtain a nuclear weapon, arguing that it would lead to an arms race across the world that would be dangerous for America. |
