![]() President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received an official invitation from U.S. President Donald Trump to take part in an international initiative focused on strengthening peace in the Middle East and resolving regional conflicts. Uzbekistan has been invited to join the Peace Council as a founding member. In a response letter to the U.S. president, Mirziyoyev confirmed Uzbekistan’s readiness to participate in the council as a founding state. In his message, Mirziyoyev described the initiative as an important step towards addressing long-standing conflicts in the Middle East and ensuring peace and stability across the wider region. |
