Almost 650 killed in Iran protests, rights group says

At least 648 protesters in Iran have been killed, according to Norway-based human rights group Iran Human Rights (IHRNGO).

This includes nine people under the age of 18, IHRNGO says.

Norway-based group Iran Human Rights warns the death toll could be far higher, but a nationwide communications blackout is making it difficult to verify information.
