Ukraine's President announces high-stakes negotiations in Brussels
![]() Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced key talks between Ukraine and EU leaders' advisers in Brussels aimed at strengthening national security. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy says that Rustem Umerov reported to him on the preparation of today's meetings in Brussels with advisors on national security issues to European leaders. According to Zelenskyy, this is part of ongoing coordination with partners, which ensures the full activity of the negotiation process. Along with the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Chief of the General Staff Andrii Hnatov will also be present at the meetings. Ukrainian representatives will inform their European colleagues about the results of yesterday's contacts between the American side and Moscow and will discuss the European component in the necessary security architecture. After Brussels, Rustem Umerov and Andrii Hnativ will prepare for a meeting with representatives of US President Donald Trump. As Zelenskyy notes, Ukraine will work constructively to achieve real peace. |
