Erdogan and Macron had a phone conversation

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron at the latter's request. During the conversation, the Ukraine-Russia war, as well as regional and global issues, were discussed,Turkish media report․

Erdogan noted that Turkey is making maximum efforts to end the war between Ukraine and Russia with a just and lasting peace and added that contacts with the parties are ongoing to revitalize the Istanbul process
