After Kirk’s Killing, Suspect Joked That His ‘Doppelganger’ Did It
![]() The New York Post reported Saturday that Charlie Kirk’s accused killer, 22-year-old Tyler James Robinson, was living with a “transgender” partner who is now cooperating with federal investigators. According to the Post, the individual — reportedly transitioning from male to female — has been in communication with the FBI about Robinson’s alleged role in Wednesday’s fatal shooting of the Turning Point USA founder at Utah Valley University. Fox News correspondent Brooke Singman, who first reported the detail, wrote on X that the FBI obtained text messages and other communications between Robinson and the individual. According to Singman, those exchanges helped agents confirm Robinson’s identity as the alleged shooter. Robinson allegedly fired a single shot into Kirk’s neck during a student Q&A session, moments after the Turning Point USA leader had fielded a question about “transgender” mass shooters. Kirk was rushed into emergency surgery and pronounced dead hours later, as previously reported by The Dallas Express. Federal and state officials said Friday that a “roommate” had provided authorities with messages from a contact named “Tyler” describing bullet casings like those found at the scene and referencing the retrieval of a rifle from a drop point. Authorities did not publicly identify the roommate or describe the nature of their relationship with Robinson. |
