IRGC: "Israel used Iraqi airspace to attack Iran"
![]() The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced that during the 12-day war between Iran and Israel, Israel carried out attacks using Iraqi airspace. This was reported by Iranian media outlets, according to the IRGC press service. It is noted that during the conflict, Israeli fighter jets entered Iranian airspace via Iraq or fired missiles at targets in the Islamic Republic using this airspace. “During the 12-day war, Iraqi airspace became a corridor for attacks on Iran by the Zionist regime. Israeli fighter jets used it without any hindrance,” the press service emphasized. The IRGC added that after the end of the war, Israel continued to penetrate Iranian territory via Iraqi airspace. The IRGC has warned the Iraqi government, emphasizing the need to put pressure on the United States and deploy air defense systems to prevent Israeli aircraft from flying over Iraqi territory. |
