"Terrorist group neutralized in Iran" - #Tasnim
![]() Iranian intelligence forces have neutralized a terrorist group in the southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan, Tasnim reported. The intelligence forces killed six militants, captured two others, and seized a large stockpile of modern weapons, vehicles, and other operational equipment. The Sistan and Baluchestan office of the Ministry of Intelligence reported that the main operational group consisted of seven non-Iranian terrorists who were armed with laser-guided RPG-7 weapons, American-made M4 and M16 rifles, hand grenades, grenade launchers, explosive vests, hand-held radios, a large amount of ammunition, and anti-personnel RPG charges. Several vehicles, motorcycles, and related tools were also seized during the operation. According to the agency, the terrorist group intended to target a key facility in eastern Iran. The intended target was very similar to military facilities hit during the 12-day war imposed by the Zionist regime, which revealed the terrorist group's connection to Israel. |
