#Bloomberg: "About 10 countries are ready to send troops to Ukraine"
![]() EU leaders discussed the plan to send British and French troops to Ukraine during an online meeting yesterday as part of a future peace agreement between Kiev and Moscow. In particular, the number of troops and their location were discussed, Bloomberg reported, citing unnamed sources. According to them, about 10 countries, including Great Britain and France, have announced their readiness to send troops to Ukraine. According to Bloomberg sources, the first stage of the program being developed by the Europeans involves strengthening the Ukrainian armed forces through training and personnel replenishment. The media outlet notes that this will be implemented by a “multinational group consisting mainly of European troops,” which will include “hundreds” of British and French soldiers who will be stationed in Ukraine, far from the front lines. According to Bloomberg, another part of the plan envisages support from the United States, which would include intelligence sharing, border control, weapons supplies and possibly air defense systems. |
