In a post on her social media account, which has been viewed by her 2.8 million followers, the 66-year-old singer wrote: “Please go to Gaza and bring your light to the children before it’s too late.” “As a mother, I cannot watch them suffer. The children of the world belong to everyone. You are the only one of us who cannot be denied entry. We must open the humanitarian gates wide to save innocent children. There is no more time. Please say you will go,” she told the pope. “Everyone is suffering. I am just trying to do everything I can to ensure that these children do not die of hunger,” the singer added, urging her followers to donate to this cause.
