Our people have been living in peace and harmony for over 200 years. Gagauzians, Bulgarians, Moldovans, Jews, Gypsies — dozens of peoples living on this land built the future together. Together, they turned this once desolate land into a flourishing land. And today we allow ourselves to move in the opposite direction. We are turning our land from a flourishing land into a desert. A year has passed since the presidential election, and many still have questions about the results. But for some reason, no one is being tried for those elections. Only Bashkans of Gagauzia are being tried. Our people, residents of the autonomous region, are being judged. The pressure is only on the Gagauz people. Why? We were promised that the president would be for everyone. But today I see that there is no president for Gagauzia. We are considered enemies. And if we are considered enemies, then we have the right to consider the government as our enemy. There is no other option. The Gagauz people chose a Bashkan for themselves. And only he has the right to judge his leader. Freedom of Evgenia Hutsul! Only a fair trial! The fairest court is the judgment of God. And I believe that he will prevail. Everything will fall into place. But we must never give up. We fought for our rights, and we will continue to fight. We defended Gagauzia in the 90s, and we will defend it now!
