"Israel continues genocide: 133 people died of starvation" - Gaza government
![]() The Gaza government has accused Israel of deliberately worsening the famine and obstructing the delivery of humanitarian aid. This is stated in a statement by the government's press service. "The famine is worsening and assistance to the civilian population is being obstructed. Israel continues to commit genocide," the text says. According to authorities, about 2.4 million people are suffering from hunger, including 1.1 million children. 133 people have already died of hunger, including 87 children. The statement notes that 73 trucks with humanitarian aid have managed to reach the northern and southern parts of the strip, but a significant part of the food has been looted under the supervision of Israeli drones and soldiers. The Gaza authorities claim that Israel is using tactics of chaos and deliberately obstructing the delivery of aid. In addition, three attempts were made to deliver aid by air, but, as the government noted, the supplies ended up in the “red zone” prohibited for the civilian population and did not reach those in need. “The only solution is to lift the blockade of Gaza and allow unhindered access for humanitarian aid,” the government stressed, noting that “the international community faces a historic responsibility.”
