At least 4 children killed in school collapse in India

A school roof collapsed in the Indian state of Rajasthan. Four children were killed and 17 others were injured in the incident. Media reports say rescue efforts are ongoing and dozens more may be trapped under the rubble.
“At least four students were killed and several others injured when the roof of a primary school collapsed in Rajasthan on Friday,” Reuters reports.

Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar said there were about 25-30 students in the classroom at the time of the incident.

Local authorities say the school building was old and the collapse could have been caused by heavy rains in the region in recent days.
