![]() The US State Department has approved another package of military supplies to Ukraine worth $330 million. It includes spare parts and repair services for artillery and air defense systems. The Pentagon reported this. Thus, the package includes important capabilities for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of M109 self-propelled howitzers worth a total of $150 million, as well as services necessary for the Ukrainian air defense worth $180 million. It is noted that the relevant services and weapons will be provided to Ukraine by American defense companies. At the same time, the Pentagon clarifies that this refers to the “approval of the possible sale of military assets to the Ukrainian government” by the above-mentioned private contractors, and not to military assistance to Ukraine by the US government. |
