![]() EU ambassadors have agreed on the18th package of sanctions against Russia after two months of discussions, a diplomatic source in Brussels told reporters. "The ambassadors have approved the 18th package of sanctions," he said. Now it must be formally approved by the EU Council in writing, which will happen in the coming hours, after which the sanctions will come into force. The 18th package includes an expansion of the blacklist of individuals and legal entities, restrictions on tankers transporting Russian oil, restrictions on a number of banks, and new export restrictions on dual-use goods and technologies. |
