Lavrov: "Moscow would like to understand what is meant by Trump's statement about 50 days"

Moscow would like to understand what US President Donald Trump means by his statement about 50 days for the Ukrainian settlement. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, recalling that the US president had previously mentioned different deadlines several times.

"Of course, we want to understand what is hidden behind Trump's statement about 50 days. Previously, it was 24 hours, it was 100 days, we have gone through all that, and we really want to understand what the US president is motivated by," the Russian Foreign Minister said after a meeting of the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers.

"It is obvious that he (Trump) is under enormous, I would say indecent, pressure from the current leadership of the EU and NATO, which continues to supply weapons to Ukraine," Lavrov added.
