Iran and Israel close their airspace

Iran has closed its airspace. This was reported by the Al Mayadeen TV channel, citing its sources.

“Iranian airspace will remain closed until further notice,” the channel reported.

Israeli authorities also announced the closure of their airspace. The country’s Ministry of Transport said that Israeli airspace will remain closed for takeoffs and landings until further notice.

“The purpose of the closure is to reduce the risks for passengers and aircraft,” the Ministry of Transport’s press service said in a statement.
