Israeli authorities also announced the closure of their airspace. The country’s Ministry of Transport said that Israeli airspace will remain closed for takeoffs and landings until further notice. “The purpose of the closure is to reduce the risks for passengers and aircraft,” the Ministry of Transport’s press service said in a statement. |
