Protests against immigration crackdown continue in Los Angeles

Protests against President Trump's immigration policy have been taking place in Los Angeles for the third day. Sunday's demonstrations were concentrated in several downtown neighborhoods. By evening, police had declared the entire city center an "unlawful assembly zone." Los Angeles police said three officers were injured in clashes with protesters. According to Reuters, the mayor of Los Angeles accused the Trump administration of escalating tensions, while condemning the protesters for using violence.
