![]() It would be “wrong” to expect “immediate” decisions and progress from the second round of direct talks between the Russian and Ukrainian sides, said Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov. He noted that important agreements were reached during the meeting. “These agreements will be implemented, after which the work will continue. We are waiting for a response to the memorandum, which has been transmitted,” the Kremlin spokesman said. Peskov added that the meaning of the Russian version of the memorandum is “to eliminate the root causes of the conflict and move towards a stable settlement.” According to Peskov, the topic of possible compromises on the part of Russia on the points of the document cannot be discussed publicly. |
