''UAVs are the future of war"- Musk
![]() American entrepreneur Tesla CEO Elon Musk, commenting on the Ukrainian military’s drone attack on Russian strategic aviation on the X social network, called drones “the future of war.” “UAVs are the future of war. Airplanes are not,” Musk wrote in response to a post on the X social network by Sequoia Capital co-owner Sean Maguire. “Ukraine has just carried out an attack that was a turning point in the history of warfare. Hundreds of drones were pre-deployed, then hit more than 40 aircraft over Russian territory at a distance of more than 1,000 km. Drones costing less than $1 million caused more than $1 billion in damage. Critical infrastructure is no longer safe,” Maguire noted in his post. Earlier, it was reported that Ukraine had struck Russian strategic aviation, in particular 34% of cruise missile carriers, as part of the special operation "Spider Web." President Zelensky called the attack a "brilliant military operation." |
