Five missing skiers have been found dead in the Swiss Alps – one remains missing

The bodies of five missing skiers have been found in the Swiss Alps, police said.

Local authorities are still looking for a sixth person.
A major search and rescue operation began on Saturday after the group disappeared near the 3,706-meter-high Tete Blanche mountain, foreign media reported, Telegraph reports.
They had set off from Zermatt, home of the famous Matterhorn mountain, on a ski tour to Arolla along the Swiss-Italian border.

Five of the six skiers were found at 21:20 p.m. local time "without any signs of life," said a statement from the Swiss canton of Valais.

Authorities had previously told the BBC that the skiers were all Swiss nationals and aged between 21 and 58.
